Random ramblings of the roaming rover of The Realm...

This is not an article per se.
It is just the vituperation of thoughts as they course through my head.
So, like I tend to do, I just put pen to paper - or fingers to keyboard - and just churn out the thoughts that run around in my head...

And as it tends to do at moments like this, the thoughts are of the Kingdom, of God, of this things called life, of living - and all things in between - and betwixt me and thee, for sometimes tis old English that seems more suited to such thoughts as these, I wonder what manner of writ shall be presented at the end of this toil of my heart that dances in tandem with fingers...

On keys.

More and more, my mind has been challenged with the scope of it all because the more I learn, the more I grow, the more I read, the more I think - and the more I know, the more that I know that I do not know.
And while an increase in knowledge can bring sorrow, my increase in knowledge just fills me with humility...and increased tranquility, for in the words of my friend "your action will not change the world" because

I
am
small...

And so are you, who might have taken time to read this.
And if you are small, then your limbs are even smaller than your being.
And if your limbs are smaller than your entirety, then your brains is far smaller than your entirety.

But what is interesting is that somehow, human beings, little worms that we are on a gigantic earth, come to the hilarious and ridiculous conclusion that we someow know all there is to know about God and life - and that those who do not obey us to the letter are fools.

Now who is the fool?

And yet, we will deny with our false humility, and yet, our actions speak a million words...but again, 'Scope', that blasted word, comes to my mind again!

What if the scope of all things is much bigger than we have imagined?
I thought to myself, what if the throne God sat upon was some sort of living chair-like animal known as a Throne in another realm?

What if God sings, but what we hear is spoken words - and what if God is a mass of living humanoid alphabets that is known as "The Word", revealing himself in many things that He IS - and that He is NOT; a dove, a lion, a lamb, a man...for He is all of these and yet, none of these at the same time!

What if light was a creature He created, one that has spawned many children - or offsprings - limited offsprings, just as darkness is a creature, and yet these offsprings leap off from candles and bulbs and torches, electronic and flax-powered, and these children could grow in the presence of space and TIME, our time, but are not able to "touch" within the confines of our time and space because of 'earth rules', like we cannot breathe water into lungs and live because of the dynamics we exist within?

What if there is no spiritual or physical and all we have are realms we understand and realms that we do not, like some human beings enjoy electrocution, others can swim in frozen waters, others can see in the dark, not conforming to what is normal - and what if normal is an anomaly?

What if you were created to be able to fly, to listen to another's thoughts, to mould life from your life, in a macabre version of biogenesis, and to heal wounds by regeneration, and what if you could see thoughts move around in colours because your eyes could really (and finally) see?

What if you were born blind though you can see A,B,C and 1,2,3 - and yet cannot understand the thoughts of the unseen beings around you that fight for you or that fight against you, that sit in your car on your way to work, that try to kill your babies, or that save your babies, in the complex chaos and order and interplay of the unseen that is all around you right now - just as you cannot see the creature(s) that sit(s) right next to you as you read these lines..

And what if there is more to life?
How would you live if you really thought about the words you said, like "How are you?", "I am fine", "I love you", "I want to be with you", "God bless you...." and even "good bye"? What if when you had a bath, you immersed yourself in the movement of the sponge on the skin that you had to enjoy for 90 years at the most before you had to let it go, and allow men you may never know put it in a wooden box and put it under the ground?

What if you lived your life knowing that you and your boss would die one day, and that the people you respect are nothing but mere men, like you, but there was a King who watched every move you made, gave you resources like a uniform, soccer boots and socks and told you had 90 minutes to play the football game, called Life, according to his commands - but at some point, the game would end, you would go back into the dressing room, look into his eyes, one on one, and he would ask you:

"What did you do with MY life?"

  1. This is borderline. .....very very on d edge of the ledge. Grab me now lest I fall string of words...but hidden within it are open ended questions. Thoughts whose intricate meanings may never be thoroughly engaged or processed by our finite mortal minds. Did u know that winds are only named by the sirection of their flow......no one kbows where they are stored away....? Alas comes Science to attempt to impose again on our once again basal minds an explanation for what we think we see and know.

    1. Read this again and sighed. I guess there is a beauty to not knowing; we grow in humility when we acknowledge that what we know is NOT, in any way, the full picture.

In the end, we'll begin to know as we are known...
